Dr. Sanchez Awarded Most Outstanding Rotarian Of The year Anew
RCSFDM Harvests Several Awards and Recognitions

For the second year in a row, the Rotary District 3780 bestowed the Most Outstanding Rotarian of the Year Award to Dr. Juan “Jim” Sanchez, a member of the Rotary Club of San Francisco Del Monte, for being one of the pioneering member-doctors of the increasingly-popular Mobile Surgery Unit. The award was given during the District Awards and Governor’s Recognition Night held last June 7, 2009 at the Philamlife Theater in Manila.

Highlighting and recognizing the impact of the MSU in the community, the District also bestowed the Best Rotary Club In Community Service Award to the RCSFDM. The Club also went home with a bumper harvest of several other awards and recognitions, namely: (1) Most Outstanding Club in Public Relations , (2) the Rotary International President’s Citation, (3) the Governor’s Recognition Award for the hosting of the World Understanding and Peace Celebration (WUPC), (4) the Governor’s Recognition Award for the hosting of the District Leadership Training Seminar (DLTS), (5) the Governor’s Recognition Awards to PP Rufino Policarpio III for being the chairperson of the WUPC, and (6) the Governor’s Recognition Award to IPP Luis Pangulayan for being the chairperson of the DLTS.

For the Major Club Awards, RCSFDM was a finalist in the following categories: (1) Most Outstanding Club in Club Service Projects and (2) Most Outstanding Club. RCSFDM President Allan Asi was also a finalist in the Most Outstanding Club President category.

Notably, the RCSFDM was also a finalist in the following categories: (1) Best Rotary Club in Promoting Rotary in Television; (2) Best Rotary Club in Promoting Rotary in Print Media; (3) Best Rotary Club in Promoting Rotary in Radio; (4) Best Rotary Club in Attendance; (5) Best Rotary Club in International Service; and (6) Best Rotary Club in Rotaract Project.
