PROFILE OF NEW RCSFDM ROTARIANS
CECILIO “LEO” LAURENTE
Cecilio “Leo” Laurente is a fraternity brother of President Mar Reyes in the UP Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity. Initially earning a Bachelor of Arts in English degree, he decided to realize his dream to become a defen der of the oppressed and became a full pledged lawyer at the youthful age of 26. Leo is another addition to the growing list of eligible bachelors of RCSFDM.
CAESAR “BUTCH” AGNIR, JR
Another Alphan welcomed into our fold. Caesar “Butch” Agnir is a batch mate of President Mar in the Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity. He is currently the branch head of the Metro Bank branch in Timog Avenue, Quezon City. Sharing his batch mate’s belief of sharing what you have and living a life of service, he joined the Rotary and became a member of RC Cubao West, serving as Director for Youth Affairs for two years. He also served as Director for both the QC Capitol Jaycess and the Monumento Bantayog Jaycees. Having had the opportunity to work with his batch mate as Vice Chair for Financial Affairs when President Mar was Lord Chancelor of the Alpha Phi Beta Chancery, he determined that he will have a bigger opportunity to be of more service to others if he will join President Mar and other Alphans in RCSFDM. He is a very welcome addition to our proud institution.
PEDRO “PETE” DELA CRUZ
Add another Alphan to the RCFSDM roster, and we just got one more pair of “able hands” to help further the objectives of our great Club. Pedro “Pete” Dela Cruz is an avid golfer, and is very much willing to share his skills and experience to improve the performance of his fellow Clubmen. He served as Sports Committee Chairman during the term of President Mar as Lord Chancelor of the APB Chancery, with a string of successful tournaments tucked under his belt. His experience in putting up golf events would definitely benefit us when we organize our own fund-raising and fellowship tournaments.
ALEX “ALEX” LOPEZ
Commissioner Alex Lopez of the National Labor Relations Commission is the 4th Alphan we are welcoming to our Club. The call for service and brotherhood is something he cannot ignore. When President Mar invited him to join our prestigious Club, Alex immediately said yes and is just eager to plunge into action and further the ideals of service and brotherhood instilled in him since his college days in UP. He is also a co-owner of the Bellore restaurant along Examiner St. in West Triangle. One of their “unique” specialties is the “Cuchinilla de lechon”, their version of an oven-roasted, boneless lechon. He will probably let us have a taste of this consistent best seller when we hold one of our meetings at Bellore.
VICTOR PABLO “VIC” TRINIDAD
Attorney Victor Pablo “Vic” Trinidad completes the Alphan cast in the latest set of newly-inducted RCSFDM Rotarians. He is a senior associate of the Romero Valdecantos Valencia Law Office. His experience in the field of law, specializing in litigation, will surely benefit a lot of people when we hold legal services during our service missions.
Dr. JESON “JAY” VIÑAS
“Save-a-Vision” is an RCSFDM project that will automatically come into our mind when we learn that Dr. Jeson “Jay” Delos Santos Viñas is an optometrist. He graduated in 1995 from the Centro Escolar University, and is the head optometrist of the family-owned chain of optical clinics- Viñas Optical, Winker’s Optical, Optic Gallery and Optical Palace. He is also the proprietor of the Claire Vision Center (Optical Clinic & Shop) at Paterno St. in Quiapo, Manila. He is an acknowledged family man, married to Fretzel Anne Rodriguez- Viñas and is a doting father to their seven year old daughter Jeanne Claire. The couple is an active member of the Alpha Zeta Paglilingkod Fdtn. Series (Tuklasan Sector- Marriage Encounter Foundation of the Phils.) together with President Mar Reyes and spouse Chit.
ROMULO PETER ALEXANDER “ALEX” RANA, MD
Rtn. Dr. Leonardo “Len” Abogado has found another ally when he engages in MSU missions. Dr. Romulo Peter Alexander “Alex” Rana is a cosmetic surgeon, specializing in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as in Head and Neck surgery. He is a member of the LSA Plastic Surgery Group, and currently a visiting consultant at the AFP Medical Center in V. Luna, Quezon City. His skills and experience will definitely come in handy in our upcoming MSU missions.
VICTOR “VIC” CALUAG
A “seasoned businessman” will best describe who Victor “Vic” Caluag is as far as his career and work experience is concerned. He graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and earned his Master’s Degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management. He had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest companies right after his graudation- with Dansk Shell Petroleum Company in Denmark; Far East Bank And Trust Corporation; Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation and La Tondeña Distillers, Inc. He also experienced managing media companies like the Philippine Multi-Media System, Inc or PMSI (which deals with satellite-based home entertainment service called Dream Broadcast System) and served as marketing and sales director for the Manila Standard TODAY. He is currently the President and CEO of the Commuter Express, a start-up daily newspaper making its rounds in the Metro Star Express (MRT) transport system. He was sponsored by PP Allan Asi.

JOSE ARNEL QUEBAL
Realizing the importance of education in life, Jose Arnel Quebal worked his way to finish his education. He inspires determination and hope, that one will achieve preset goals if one will combine hard work and perseverance. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Major in Accountancy from the Philippine School of Business Administartion, and graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from San Sebastian College Institute of Law. Public service has been his passion, seeking ways to improve the lives of his constituents. He became a barangay councilor and moved on to become the Barangay Captain of Barangay Greater Fairview since 2002.
EXEQUIEL “Bing” YUMANG
Dr. Exequiel “Bing” Yumang is a practicing general and cosmetic surgeon. He graduated from FEU-NRMF with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. He decided thereafter to take his inclination towards the sciences a step further and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from the same educational institution. He had his general surgery training in one of the prestigious hospitals in the metropolis, St. Luke’s Medical Center, where he also has a clinic. With these glowing credentials, the entry of Dr. Bing Yumang to the MSU surgical team has undoubtedly strengthened the team further.
