The Inner Wheel Club of San Francisco del Monte is a socio-civic organization composed of spouses and relatives of Rotarians. It is a partner in service of the Rotary Club of San Francisco del Monte.
Club Projects Implemented for Inner Wheel Year 2008-2009
Hardin ng Buhay A community center was established to showcase sustainable developmental activities focused on value formation; gender, health and nutrition; responsible sexuality of women; livelihood facilitation; care for the elderly; children’s welfare; and environmental education.
The Hardin Ng Buhay made it possible for the Club to undertake integrated community service projects as follows:

| Supplemental Feeding Program
The supplemental feeding program covered periodic medical check up , dental health check, fluoride treatment, deworming, Vit A supplementation and supply of multivitamins and other medicines for cough, colds and fever.
The children were likewise taught sanitation and hygiene, and instilled in them the importance of hand-washing. The program likewise introduced value formation activities like praying before meals, respect for elders, the virtue of sharing and discipline. |

Community Volunteer MothersTo assist the Club in the implementation of its supplemental feeding program and other projects, a community core of volunteer mothers was created.
To help empower these volunteers to become better carers of their families, the Club conducted a series of lectures for their continuing education. |

Health and Nutrition Education for MothersThe Club’s community volunteers were the recipient of the Tulong Dunong Para sa Kababaihan, - A lecture Series on Health and Nutrition, Food Preparations, Child Care and Breast Feeding, Recycling and Environmental Cleanliness. |

Reading Advocacy Project
A story-telling and related reading activities were implemented simultaneously with the supplemental feeding program. The program helped developed not only the children’s interest in books and learning but also their social behaviour. The story telling activity became the medium for instilling values in children.
The Reading Project, forged a better partnership with the community volunteer core as the volunteer mothers became more active participants in their children’s early education as they immersed in the training on how they could best relate to their children through the story telling techniques imparted by Club members.
Story and drawing books were distributed for free. Mothers were encouraged to continue the reading activities in their respective homes. |

Pamaskong Handog Para Kay Lolo and LolaA Christmas offering for 100 elderly from Bgy Fairview, focused on health care:
- Medical check-up with free medicines
- Vision Screening and provision of free reading glasses
- Gift giving of food, blankets and old clothes.

Pamaskong Handog Para Sa KabataanThe Pamaskong Handog Para Sa Kabataan provided Christmas treat for 100 children from various depressed areas in Bgy. Fairview Q.C. |

Livelihood ProjectsFor economic empowerment for young mothers, food processing livelihood projects were conducted at the Hardin ng Buhay. |

Clean and Green – Community Bloom GardenThe Club maintained a vegetable garden at the Hardin ng Buhay, as an additional source of nutritional food for the supplemental feeding program.
As part of the Clean and Green Project, Malunggay saplings were distributed for planting within the baranggay. |
